Unleashing the Power of Resilient, Motivated and Happy Young People

Imagine a world where young people can't wait to get up every morning, are happy and fulfilled and eager to participate in whatever is in store for them each day.

Imagine a world where the damaging effects of social media are minimised and there is support for your child to use it responsibly.

Imagine a world where your child's needs are fully understood, no matter how complex, and they feel that sense of connection and belonging.

Imagine a world where you, as a parent or carer, are supported fully and understood.

This is our mission.

At SuperHero Minds, we believe that every young person has the potential to become their own hero and have the power from within to be resilient, motivated and happy.

We specialise in empowering young people aged 10 to 17 and their families by building resilience, fostering motivation and unlocking lasting happiness through coaching and mental fitness programmes that are science and research based.

Through our innovative and personalised services, we help young people and their families overcome challenges, boost their confidence and thrive.

We work with children and young people, their families and Multi-Academy Trusts (MATs), Schools and Local Authorities (LAs).

Whether it is through 1:1 coaching, family support or mental fitness training, we will equip young people and their families with the tools they need to navigate life's ups and downs with courage and strength.

If working with someone who can make your child feel happy, understood and listened to is right for you, we would love to hear from you.

We can't wait for you to join us on the journey to build a generation of confident, emotionally strong and motivated individuals.

Together, let's build SuperHero Minds that are mentally fit and happy!

Welcome from Krissi Carter

Founder Director and SuperHero Mind Coach

SuperHero Minds was founded by Krissi Carter, a highly experienced leader in education, with 7 years of secondary school headship experience, 15 years of senior leadership experience and nearly 6 years of being a Trustee and Member for a MAT.

During her 20 years in education, Krissi also held the roles of Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and SENDCo.

She is a Fellow of the Chartered College of Teaching (FCCT), Fellow of the College of Teachers (FCoT) and holds the National Professional Qualification for Executive Leaders (NPQEL) in addition to her Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).

At SuperHero Minds, you will be working with someone who fully understands the needs of children and young people and has a passion to transform your children to be the best they can be while fully supporting you.

"Krissi had an understanding of what each student needed in order for them to be the best version of themselves. For me, having a teacher that understood me made a world of difference and gave me a sense of belonging. I knew I could always rely on Krissi and that I could approach her about anything, whether that be the challenges of schoolwork or the anxieties of teenage life. It always felt like she genuinely cared, not because she had to, but because that’s the nature of who she is.

This brought out a confidence in me and a desire to want to challenge myself, knowing that failure was part of success. This is still a confidence and mindset I possess today!"

Perry, Ex-Student, Father and Pensions Senior Consultant, worked with Krissi from the ages of 11 to 16

"What Miss Carter did with her approach to teaching was to establish meaningful relationships and connections to her students, so that she could help us recognise what we were capable of and what direction we could go in if we moved with intent. Instead of someone being there to manage behaviour, I saw someone that was helping me get the best out of myself, for myself: someone who genuinely cared. Miss Carter developed a wonderful relationship with my parents, and similarly with so many other students and their families".

Chay, Ex-Student, Lecturer and PhD Student, worked with Krissi from the ages of 11 to 16
